Minuet
and Trio Project Description
|
|
|

|

Notes:
- The
links in the second column are playable on most PCs and some Macs. The files
in the third column are downloadable to your PC/Mac and can be played from
within Finale/Finale Notepad (or Allegro or PrintMusic).
- You
will need to download and install the Finale Viewer to view/play/print the
files in the second column and Finale Notepad to play the files in the
third column. These are available for free from Coda Music.
- To
view the files in the last column, you will need to have the Adobe Acrobat
Reader installed. This is available for free from Adobe.
- Information
on using the Finale Viewer files:
- To
play, click on the green button (just to the right of the words Finale Viewer on the control bar
(just above the musical example).
The button will turn red after you click it; select it again to
stop playback.
- If
you want to print the page you are viewing, be sure to select the printer
icon on the Finale Viewer control bar. Do not use your browser's print
command; it won't print the music.
- Some
of the files need to be printed in landscape mode (i.e., lengthwise). To
do this, select the printer icon. Then click on Setup and choose Landscape.
- There
are several ways that you can modify playback:
- To
transpose, select the button with the two flats from the control bar.
- To
change the tempo, use the bottom slider-bar (in the middle of the control
panel).
- To
change the measure from which playback starts, click the up or down arrow
(which will initially be to the right of the number "1", next
to the green playback button.
- The
far right button on the control bar brings up a help file that explains
all of the controls on the control bar.
Known
Problems
- The
Finale Viewer may not work with Internet Explorer if you are using an
early version of Windows XP. It has to do with the Java implementation in
XP.
- If you
get a Ctree error (generated by
Finale), just click OK.
