-           1st resupply cashe must survive up to a week un-refrigerated in storage and on the trail.

-           2nd resupply cache must survive 1 month un-refrigerated in the mail, in storage, and on the trail.  Send in factory sealed containers if at all possible.  Figure on 2 persons per 5 gallon bucket: 5 gallon = 1155 cubic inches = just under 2 bear canisters.

-           items listed per (re)supply may not correspond to posted number of meals for that (re)supply for logistical reason.  In the end, there is enough to eat and more.
