PAUL YEAGER

Paul Yeager on mountain

Retired chemistry faculty member Paul Yeager passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Paul joined the physical science department in September 1959 and retired in 1990.  Paul loved the outdoors and was very active in organizing hikes, backpacking trips, ski trips etc. for his large group of friends.  We will miss him.

ROBERT FLANAGAN
(February 17, 1935 - April 2, 2014)

Bob Flanagan

It is with sadness that we note the passing of chemistry instructor, Bob Flanagan.  Mr. Flanagan taught full-time at DVC for 40 years including stints as Faculty Senate President, Faculty Union President, Division Chair, and interim Dean of Instruction.  After retirement he continued teaching part-time until 2012.  For more information click here.

ENJOY THE SITE AND COME BACK OFTEN

Many current students (and perhaps some of you) are interested in talking with alumni about careers. If you are willing to be in this network, please join the LinkedIn site of Karen Long.  We are also looking for alumni interested in giving a science lecture on what they work with and also talk about their career. Check the Alumni Seminars at DVC page. Anything related to medicine or biochemistry is especially of interest right now.
