Professional Information:

I am a computer instructor working at several local sites:

Diablo Valley College - where I teach computer basics (CS 100), application program basics (CS 100L) and
Visual Basic for Applications (CS 138).   I am certified online instructor and love teaching online. 

Las Positas College - where I teach online Microsoft Word (CIS 88A and B), Intro to Computers (CIS 50), Intro to Applications (CIS 55), HTML (CIS 59), online PowerPoint (CIS 89A) Visual Basic for Applications (CIS 68) and a variety of application classes.

DVC's San Ramon Valley Center - where I teach a range of introduction and application (CIS) courses.

And just recently I have begun teaching Introduction/Internet/Word/ and more class for the Rossmoor Computer Club
through the Acalanes Adult Education program - what a blast.

Personal Information:

I am a sixty-something female.  Married 40 years to a great guy.  I am the mother of two, one son and one daughter. 
Our son has made us the proud grandparents to four granddaughters and one grandson.  Our daughter and her hubby have provided two more grandsons.  If that is not enough, our two oldest granddaughters have made us the
proud great grandparents of one handsome boy,  two darling girls.

Meet the family

My major hobby is simply enjoying life.  I love to read mostly fantasy, but I range over almost everything except
computer books (those are part of my professional life).  I love to swim (weather permitting), hike (I do better
down hill than up hill), and just walk the dog - Daisy, a half English Pointer half standard Poodle bundle of energy. 
I love to travel and carry a very respectable 160 bowling average.
