GENERAL PROCEDURES
Attendance
It is important to visit the course Web page regularly each week and to stay up with the dates listed on the syllabus. (Since this is an accelerated six-week course, you should plan to log on at least every other day.) Written lectures, discussion topics, homework problems, and other class activities extend your understanding and application of your new skills and knowledge. It is also very important to note that all chapter tests, Peachtree projects, and online discussions have specific deadlines. You must meet these deadlines in order to get credit for these assignments. NO MAKEUP TESTS WILL BE GIVEN OR LATE WORK ACCEPTED FOR ANY REASON.
Outside Work
Because this course is being taught in an accelerated six-week format, please plan to devote at least 18 hours per week (a 54-hour class requires an additional 54 hours of homework per state educational requirements) during this extremely accelerated summer semester intersession to read lecture notes, participate in class discussions, complete homework assignments, review, study for tests, complete Peachtree projects, and prepare for the next class session. In addition, this course includes 18 lab hours. These lab hours will be used to complete four Peachtree projects (4.5 hours per project).
