Sports Medicine Degree Curriculum

 
The Associate in Science Degree in Sports Medicine / Athletic Training program is a two-year course of study designed for students interested in becoming allied health care professionals such as athletic trainer or physical therapists. It combines academic, laboratory and clinical experiences to prepare students for further study or to obtain employment as an entry-level rehabilitation / allied health paraprofessional. Earning this degree may facilitate the student's transer to a four-year college and/or professional program. Students who wish to transfer must consult with a program advisor or counselor to insure that the requirements for transfer to appropriate institutions of their choice are met.
